Sunstate Bank was founded in 1999 as Sofisa Bank of Florida. In 2007, the Bank adopted the new name Sunstate Bank to reinforce our commitment to the communities we serve, and with a unique experience: namely "State of the Art" banking.
Sunstate Bank is a full-service, state-chartered commercial bank, headquartered in Miami-Dade County, FL. The Bank operates three branches located in Palmetto Bay (Headquarters), Coral Gables and West Miami.
Sunstate Bank offers consumers, businesses, and international customers an array of deposit products, including various checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), Interest on Trust Accounts (IOTAs), and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). The Bank offers business and consumer loan products to both domestic and foreign borrowers. Loan products offered to businesses include commercial mortgages, term and working capital loans, commercial lines of credit (LOC) and letters of credit. Consumer loan offerings include residential mortgages, home equity loans, and consumer installment loans.
